What is Line Planting?

Line planting is a cost effective technique that reduces slabs of turf into small evenly sized sprigs which are sewn and spaced perfectly by our Line planting machinery.

The benefits of the line planting propagation method are:

What is AN IDEAL SPACE FOR LINE PLANTING ?

Any large open space that we can manoeuvre our machinery in is ideal for Line Planting.

Since 2018 we have successfully planted many school ovals, public open spaces, soccer fields, residential subdivisions and large backyards.

For the love of 'Turf'

Troy's passion for creating green spaces came about after completing an apprenticeship at Rich River Golf Club and later a Diploma in Sports Turf Management.

Working on many Golf Courses throughout Australia including Sanctuary Cove, Hope Island, Moonah Links and The National led him to become passionate about the construction process of the courses.

In 2001 he became the assistant in the construction of the Sandhurst Golf Club situated in Sandhurst, Melbourne.

Returning to Echuca in 2003, Troy joined the crew at Coolabah Turf which furthered his career and expanded his skill set in all facets of turf for 9 years.

After seeing many different approaches to turf laying and management, Troy developed a dream of owning a Line Planting machine and this is where the story of t4 GreenSpace begins.

We can also cut and deliver SPRIGS

September through to early May is the ideal time for planting your lawn with freshly cut sprigs to order.

All you need to do is select a variety of TURF and we will cut it and deliver it straight to your door.
Your job is to spread it evenly over a prepared area - roll in, fertilise and provide some love and care.
